Inflatable Splints

Versatile and durable, these splints which are suitable for X-ray patients, provide stabilisation and enhance patient comfort.

Versatile and simple to use, Ferno Inflatable Splints are suitable for suspected fractures of the arm and leg. When applied they provide stabilisation, as well as enhancing patient comfort and exerting a uniform pressure around the injured limb to control bleeding.

Four sizes are available, Long Arm, Short Arm, Long Leg and Short Leg to suit various injuries. The long arm and the two leg splints incorporate a nylon zip for easy application.

The splints are inflated by blowing into the extended mouthpiece. Pressure on the limb can be easily controlled by opening or closing the pull/push valve.

Manufactured in a durable PVC, the splints are transparent to allow observation of the injured limb.

X-rays may be performed with the splints in place.

The four splints are supplied as a set in either a PVC coated polyester wallet or a rigid polypropylene plastic case. They may also be purchased individually.
